This year dare to try new ideas. That is what our project is all about. I’m constantly falling in love with the brunch flatlays on instagram. Yet I am so sick of limited bunch options. So I’ve taken this recipe with a few of my own alterations to create a delicious glazed salmon that is perfect for brunch, lunch or dinner. 

Super easy and delicious. So here you go:

 

Ingredients

250ml of beef stock

125 ml of soy sauce

60 grams of brown sugar

4 garlic cloves crushed

4cm piece of garlic finely grated

2 tbs sesame oil

1tbs gochujang (korean fermented chilli paste)

2kg salmon fillet (preferably one whole piece)

 

Method

Turn on oven to grill mode at 200 degrees celsius.

Place salmon on an oven tray or dish lined with baking paper and rest

Combine remaining ingredients into a small saucepan and heat on medium to high heat, stirring continuously. After ten minutes it should of thickened. Remove from heat.

Brush the salmon with the glaze and place into the oven. Glaze the salmon every 2 minutes heavily and after 10-12 minutes it will be ready. 

Serve with cream cheese and bagels for brunch or green salad and rice for lunch and dinner.
